#MoonwardPodcast #Diving #Mindsea #OceanConnection #SelfDiscovery #MarineLife - S1 EP11 - This is one of the most personal conversations I’ve ever had.
For the first time, my mum shares parts of her childhood that I had never heard before. Through this conversation, I finally understood why she values the things she values, why she loves the way she does, and how she gave everything she had to be the best mother she could be—even without having had the example of a loving mother herself.
This episode isn’t about blame. It’s about understanding.
So often we forget that our parents were simply children once too. They carry experiences, wounds, and lessons that shape the way they raise us. Most parents aren’t trying to be perfect—they’re doing the very best they can with what they know, what they were taught, and what they had.
I hope this conversation inspires you to look at your own parents with a little more compassion and curiosity. Sometimes, understanding someone’s story changes the way you see them forever.
I hope it touches your heart as much as it touched mine.
//
Sometimes the biggest opportunities come from taking a chance.
In this episode, I share the story of how a collaboration with Triangl Swimwear became much more than a brand partnership. What started as my very first collaboration eventually led me to working with the company, traveling to Hong Kong, and designing my own collection.
One of those designs went on to become part of a moment that changed the brand’s history—when one of the most famous women in the world wore Triangl for the very first time.
This is a story about saying yes before you’re ready, trusting your instincts, and how one opportunity can completely change the direction of your life.
