These are some of the tools that I use as a surf coach to help surfers understand the movement patterns that are used inside of surfing and train them in a more dynamic way than just movement practice on land. Because surfing is one of the hardest sports to learn, it's very common to have negative thoughts or self-talk in the journey of progressing your surfing. This is at least my experience and what I see happen in the surfers that I've coached over the years. Dealing with that is very important to make the whole journey more enjoyable and less about suffering to improve. This is my short take on how I handle negative self talk and just one example of how you can achieve a better self talk.
