From the banlieue of Marseille to world champion, Zizou won it all as player and a manager and yet managed to remain enigmatic and mysterious.

Famed for his languid style and otherworldly first touch, he won league titles with Juventus and Real Madrid and helped France to win the World Cup and the Euros back to back.

It’s the return of the Nations League and the debut for lots of big name managers in international dugouts.

England host Spain at Wembley on Saturday in a fixture that could have been the World Cup final. How will Thomas Tuchel react to that Argentina failure? Do England have it in them to get the level of La Roja?

It’s the last Euro pod before the international break and it’s been a bumper weekend of action on the Continent.

Pol Ballus joins Jimbo, James Horncastle, Seb Stafford-Bloor and Tom Williams as Jose Mourinho loses a league game against Atletico Madrid for the first time ever. The Real boss left fuming after Dean Huijsen was sent off early in the second half. Their defeat leaves free-scoring Barcelona six points clear, after they beat Sevilla 3-1 thanks to another Raphinha hattrick.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane has become the fastest player ever to score 100 Bundesliga goals as Bayern Munich thrash Union Berlin 7-0. Kane’s record comes after just 98 games. Dortmund are top of the pile though after a 1-0 win at Stuttgart continues their 100% start.

In Italy, it’s honours even between the top two as Inter come back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Roma. Lazio are level on points with both of them now after a 2-0 win over Venezia.

And in France, PSG beat ten-man Marseille 2-1 to secure back to back wins for the first time this season, leaving Marseille second from bottom after their worst start to a season in 15 years.

Champions Arsenal get demolished 3-0 by Brighton at the Amex. The Seagulls are the top scorers in the division. We try and explain how Hurzeler’s side do it.

Their North London neighbours Tottenham finally found the back off the net. But only after they went 3-0 down at home to Villa. Is another relegation battle on the horizon for Spurs?

Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea are also taken apart 3-0 by Brentford on Friday night. But Andoni Iraola remains unbeaten as Liverpool manager after a 1-0 victory at his old club Bournemouth.

Fulham almost claim their first win under Alvaro Arbeloa before a late equaliser from Matheus Cunha for Manchester United.

Plus Celtic lose for the third time in a week and Coventry grab their first win in the Premier League in 25 years.

Jimbo is joined by Duncan Alexander, Michael Cox and special guest Simon Kuper to celebrate Frank Rijkaard.

Technically gifted, Rijkaard could play anywhere on the pitch and was the gel in two of the greatest ever club sides at Milan and Ajax, winning 7 league titles and 3 Champions Leagues.

He helped the Netherlands to win Euro 88 alongside Van Basten and Gullit, but despite being a quiet understated man, is ironically best known for spitting in Rudi Voller's mullet at Italia 90.

As a manager he combined his Dutch 'Total Football' roots with some steely defensiveness picked up in Italy and helped return Barcelona back to their former glory.

But since managing in Saudi back in 2013 he's barely been seen, so what happened to Frank Rijkaard?
