    filmPOLSKA is a festival organised yearly by the Polish Institute in Berlin. The 21st edition takes place from 9th till 16th of September in various cinemas in Berlin and Potsdam.

    Fighting the Moscow heritage with Natasha Konradova

    Natasha began her career as a passionate journalist, travelling across remote regions of Russia and speaking with people. In 2014, following the annexation of Crimea, she and her family decided to leave Moscow and settled in Berlin.

    Since 2022, she has been active in a human rights organisation, running various educational programs for youngsters, who want to learn about the unprocessed Soviet past through oral history and personal stories.

    In conversation with Ukrainian artist Olena Pronkina, as part of a new series of Kitchen Conversations devoted to mothers and motherhood in the arts.

    For the past couple of years, Olena’s work has focused on experiences of transition, instability, and the search for one’s place within new environments and conditions.

    Becoming a mother brought a pause to her usual artistic practice for almost two years. During that time, Olena turned to analog photography, which she could practice during walks while her child was sleeping.
