Close contacts in schools will no longer need to restrict movements
From next Monday, most primary school children and those in childcare facilities who are identified as close contacts of a confirmed case of Covid-19, but have no symptoms, will no longer have to restrict their movements, or get tested.

Seven injured following an altercation at funeral in Tuam
Seven people were injured following an altercation at a funeral in Tuam, Co. Galway Wednesday afternoon. It's understood a number of those injured sustained stab wounds. One man was airlifted to hospital for treatment, while the others were transferred by ambulance to University Hospital Galway.
