El sótano

Chaputa Records alcanza las 100 referencias editadas y el centésimo lanzamiento es una compilación llamada “Still primitive”. La disquera portuguesa invita a 16 bandas de la casa a recrear de principio a fin el disco “Get Primitive! The Best Of Pebbles”. Este álbum se lanzó en 1986, cumple 40 años, y desde su lanzamiento se convirtió en uno de los evangelios apócrifos más importantes del 60’s garage punk.

Te presentamos en primicia el nuevo trabajo de los Young Fresh Fellows. El álbum “Loft” (Yep Roc) toma su nombre del estudio de Chicago, propiedad de Wilco, donde lo gestaron en dos fases bien diferenciadas. En la primera grabaron las canciones en apenas 8 horas; con su formato de cuarteto (guitarras, bajo y batería), sonido crudo y directo, prácticamente improvisando sobre la marcha. En la segunda exploraron hasta donde podían llevarlas con trabajo de postproducción y añadiendo instrumentistas invitados que expandieron su sonido. El resultado es uno de los discos más ambiciosos y emocionantes de esta banda en sus más de cuatro décadas de trayectoria.
