John Mulaney came in hot for this week's SNL. It was his third time hosting and he did not disappoint. His self-aware and highly observational comedy style continues to get better and better and places him as one of the top comedians of our time. John Mulaney joked about having nothing to promote, but if you haven't already seen his three stand-up specials on Netflix or his "The Sack Lunch Bunch" check it out!

Must watch sketches:

Airport Sushi

John Mulaney Monologue

Coronavirus Cold Open

Sound Of Music: Rolf and Liesl

In other news, Pete Davidson is in hot water right now and actually didn't attend the SNL afterparty this past weekend. During an interview with Charlamane, Pete said he's ready to quit the show because he believes his castmates think he's "f-cking dumb" and continued by saying, "I don't know if I'm the joke or I'm in on the joke."

It was only a matter of time before SNL had RuPaul host and finally we got it! As the host of RuPaul’s Drag Race and star in the Netflix series AJ and the Queen, RuPaul is no rookie when it comes to stealing the show and he did just that all while giving America an introductory lesson into Drag culture and we are HERE FOR IT.

Some notable sketches include: Reading with RuPaul, Democratic Debate, RuPaul & Chad and Toscana.

Weekend Update didn’t disappoint with two guest appearances:  Chloe Fineman discusses the Oscar nominations and comes with heat! After almost a year, the notorious Cathy Ann makes her return!!

Overall, RuPaul did an amazing job and is an amazing entertainer. Justin Bieber performed two songs off of his upcoming and highly anticipated album, “Changes” including Yummy and Intentions featuring Quavo.

This week’s episode of SNL starring defensive end for the Houston Texans, JJ Watt and musical guest Luke Combs had some great moments and some forgettable. Regardless, it was great to see a prestigious athlete like Watt get silly. Some notable sketches include: Madden 21, Pilot Hunk, The Sex Talk and Frozen 2 Outtakes.

Weekend Update didn’t disappoint with two guest appearances:  Ego Nwodim’s Dr. Angie Hynes and Bowen Yang’s Chen Biao.

Overall it was a fitting episode for Super Bowl weekend and JJ did not disappoint.
