Retired NYPD detective Mark Pucci and psychic medium Kiersten Hathcock share how they've partnered for over a decade solving cold cases and finding missing people when police departments gave up.
Kiersten, an entrepreneur who had appeared on Shark Tank, was shocked when she got contacted by a boy who had passed away. She was even more shocked when what she got was verified. Her scientific brain tried explaining everything away until she started physically seeing deceased people.

Dorie Pickle, author of Dawn: A Fresh Perspective on Life, Death and the Other Side, shares how her mom Carly had vivid dreams and visions in her final days that revealed specific details about the afterlife, and made Dorie promise to write a book about what she was seeing.
Carly spent 40 years battling kidney disease. When she was hospitalized for pneumonia, something shifted. She started telling everyone who came into her hospital room about what she was witnessing. She told Dorie "I am staring death in the face right now" and described things about our journey and existence that she'd never known before. She explained details about levels and structures that exist on the other side that we can't see from here.
Then Carly had a vivid dream about buying and reading a book in an airport bookstore that described everything she was experiencing. She and Dorie spent two hours trying to find this book online. It didn't exist. Carly turned to Dorie and said "then you have to write it." She made Dorie promise she would.
Dorie shares some of the hundreds of signs she's received from her mom since her passing, why she stopped drinking alcohol to connect with her mom more in dreams and how it worked, and what her mom's visions revealed about the journey we're all on. Dan Cohen, host of Awakenings in Real Life podcast and author, shares how his father had a two-day awakening from severe dementia after pneumonia treatment, becoming 90% himself again and delivering a message that changed how Dan views consciousness and what dementia patients might still understand.
Dan's father developed dementia after a stroke at 75 and progressed through all seven stages over 10 years. He became nonverbal, incontinent, needed help with everything, had no short term memory. Then in 2015, after antibiotics and steroids for pneumonia, something unexpected happened. For two days, he became himself again. He recalled specific details about his grandchildren's lives that happened during his dementia. He had conversations nobody thought possible. He asked for things he hadn't asked for in a decade.
Dan's brother videotaped him toward the end of those two days and asked what he was happy about. His father's answer became the foundation for Dan's entire mission. This wasn't terminal lucidity since it happened eight months before death, not hours or days. No medical explanation exists. Dan's brother, a doctor, searched for answers but colleagues and neurologists had never seen this in 30 years of practice.
Dan shares the profound lessons of acceptance and inclusion for dementia patients, how small acts of kindness can transform lives, and why we should give living eulogies. Kim Hodous, happiness speaker and author of Beyond Grief, shares how she connects daily with her son Rob through automatic writing after losing him at 29, the profound messages he shares about the other side, and the system he gave her to teach other mothers to connect with their children who have passed.
After losing her daughter Chelsea to leukemia 30 years ago and receiving white rock signs everywhere she went, Kim was a happiness speaker for 15 years when she got the devastating call that Rob had died. That night in a hotel room stranded in a snowstorm, Rob came through apologizing and saying he was embarrassed.
