James Vowles took to his F1 team's social media feeds to discuss what's going on with their 2026 machine, since it has missed the first ever Formula 1 test session of the season. In it, he denies rumours regarding FIA chassis crash test failures and a supposed heavy car. Does this go some way to dispel worries about the Formula One team? Yes, but it is still a calculated move.
But one must admit, given the nature of the test we've seen, it might have been for the best to keep the FW48 a secret for as long as possible. Let's talk about it!
