Beatriz Navas, Rubén Corral y Elsa Estrella Echevarría son las personas seleccionadas en la cuarta edición de las Becas José Ángel Herrero-Velarde del Festival de San Sebastián y Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE). Durante dos semanas del mes de julio, los tres han disfrutado de una residencia en las dependencias de Artxiboa, el archivo histórico del Festival donde Navas ha investigado la aportación del Festival en las conversaciones sobre políticas cinematográficas; Corral ha analizado las relaciones institucionales con otros certámenes del Estado y Echevarría ha indagado en la programación de cine infantil llevada a cabo por Sonika-Bo entre 1958 y 1963.

Beatriz Navas, Rubén Corral and Elsa Estrella Echevarría are the three researchers who have recently benefited from JoséÁngel Herrero-Velarde grants in their fourth edition, organized by the San Sebastian Festival and Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE). For two weeks in July, the three have enjoyed a residency at the Artxiboa facilities, the Festival's historical archive where Navas researched the Festival’scontribution to conversations on film policies; Corral analysed institutional relations with other Spanish festivals, and Echevarría explored the programming of films for children curated by Sonika-Bo between 1958 and 1963.

La sesión fue moderada en el cine de Tabakalera por la compositora Paula Olaz el 20 de septiembre de2025 durante la 73ª edición del Festival de San Sebastián.

La productora María Zamora moderó la conversación con el cineasta Joachim Trier, que participó en Perlak con su nueva película Affeksjonverdi / Sentimental Value (Valor sentimental), tras alzarse con el Grand Prix en el Festival de Cannes y antes de conquistar el Oscar a la mejor película internacional, entre muchas otras distinciones. El realizador de títulos como Oslo, 31. august (Oslo, 31 de agosto) o Verdens verste menneske / The Worst Person in the World (La peor persona del mundo), ofreció la charla el 21 de septiembre de 2025 en el cine de Tabakalera, dentro de la 73ª edición del Festival de San Sebastián.

Producer María Zamora moderated a film talk with the filmmaker Joachim Trier, who took part in Perlak with his new film, Affeksjonverdi / Sentimental Value, after winning the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and prior to winning the Oscar for Best International Feature Film, among many other awards. The director of titles such as Oslo, 31. august and Verdens verste menneske / The Worst Person in the World gave the talk on September 21, 2025, at Tabakalera’s cinema during the 73rd edition of the San Sebastián Festival.

El director catalán Jaume Claret Muxart ofreció una conversación para presentar su debut en el largometraje, Estrany riu, que compitió en Zabaltegi-Tabakalera tras su paso por la sección Orizzonti del Festival de Venecia. Alumni de la Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) y de Ikusmira Berriak, la residencia de proyectos en la que precisamente desarrolló esta película, Claret Muxart conversó con la subdirectora del Festival de San Sebastián, Maialen Beloki, sobre los primeros pasos de su carrera y todo lo que implica sacar adelante una ópera prima. La charla, enmarcada en Nest, tuvo lugar el 24 de septiembre de 2025 en la sala de cine de Tabakalera durante la 73ª edición del Festival.

 The Catalan filmmaker Jaume Claret Muxart gave a talk to present his debut feature film, Estrany riu, which competed in Zabaltegi-Tabakalera after its screening in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival. An alumnus of the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) and of Ikusmira Berriak, the residency where he developed this very project, Claret Muxart spoke with the Deputy Director of the San Sebastián Festival, Maialen Beloki, about the first steps of his career and the challenges of bringing a debut film to life. The talk, held as part of Nest, took place on September 24, 2025, at the Tabakalera cinema during the 73rd edition of the Festival.

La cineasta estadounidense Gia Coppola, premiada en 2024 con el Premio Especial del Jurado del Festival por The Last Showgirl y miembro del Jurado Oficial en la edición de 2025, visitó San Sebastián para hablar de su camino en el cine. Celebrada el 23 de septiembre de 2025 en la sala de cine de Tabakalera y enmarcada en las Conversaciones de Nest, la charla estuvo moderada por Alejo Duclós y sirvió para que Coppola explicara de primera mano su manera de mirar, crear y habitar el cine.
Estatu Batuetako zinema-zuzendari Gia Coppola-k, 2024an Zinemaldia-ko Epaimahaiaren Sari Berezia irabazi zuen The Last Showgirl filmarekin, eta 2025eko edizioan Epaimahai Ofizialeko kide izan zen. The American filmmaker Gia Coppola, who received the Special Jury Prize at the Festival in 2024 for The Last Showgirl and served as a member of the Official Jury in the 2025 edition, visited San Sebastián to discuss her path in cinema. Held on September 23, 2025, at the Tabakalera cinema and included in the Nest Talks programme, the convesation was moderated by Alejo Duclós and gave Coppola the opportunity to explain first-hand her way of seeing, creating and inhabiting film.
