In today's episode Amanda Pollack, ACE, BFE joins us to talk all things Palm Royale. 
Amanda Pollack, ACE, BFE is a born and raised New Yorker, who spent a number of years in the UK as well. She has always loved the way pictures, sound, and music work together to tell stories. Amanda believes her affinity for music and sense of rhythm contribute greatly to the craft of editing. Television Credits include The Patient, The Good Fight, The Sinner, Smash, Skins, In Treatment, The Americans, Godfather of Harlem, and Palm Royale.
In Feature Films, Amanda has worked with an impressive list of directors, including Robert Altman, Terry Gilliam, Ang Lee, Sidney Pollack, Martin Brest, and David Frankel. Amanda also earned credit as Additional Music Editor on The Devil Wears Prada, after finding and editing much of its songs and score.
Amanda loves her work, and feels very fortunate to be in this collaborative business of storytelling as an Editor.

Catherine is a prolific, award-winning editor and the host of the CCE's French podcast L'Art du Montage. In Larry (they/them), she takes on the dual role of director and editor, following the vibrant and deeply personal journey of non-binary Montreal photographer Laurence Philomène. Their colourful and intimate photography not only shines throughout the film but also offers a poignant glimpse into the evolving experience of embracing a gender-nonconforming identity.

It was an in depth conversation with Sonia Godding Togobo and Tom Third.  They discussed the documentary A MOTHER APART, a story about Jamaican-American poet and 2SLGBTQ+ activist Staceyann Chin and how she courageously reclaimed the art of mothering.  We'll learn more about the edit and how the music added to the story.
