Shahriar Parhizgar

Shahriar Parhizgar also spelled Shahriyar Parhizgar is a renowned Quran reciter and Qari from Iran. Born in 1965 in Tehran Iran he is highly respected for his masterful command of Tajweed and his deeply spiritual and melodious recitation. He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration but like many Iranian Qaris is proficient in various melodic modes (maqamat). Digital Quranic archives feature numerous recordings of his recitations including complete recitations of the Holy Quran and various individual surahs.
