The Crate is a new monthly show built around one simple idea: fresh music for the dancefloor. Each month, I dig deep and hand-pick new records that earn their place in my DJ sets at Early Doors Club, Newcastle;  no fillers, no throwaways, just tracks that move the room.
The Crate is where new discoveries meet the Early Doors sound, showcasing music that’s shaping the sets before it ever hits the booth. From upfront cuts to overlooked gems, it’s a snapshot of what’s landing in the bag right now and why it matters on a proper dancefloor.

Three years of Early Doors Club has delivered some huge dancefloor moments - where underground energy meets pure nostalgia. Every gig has its magic, but there are always those special tunes: a cheeky remixed classic dropped at just the right moment, catching the crowd off guard and lifting the room.
This closing set didn’t mess about.
It’s packed with reworked gems from the early ’90s, with a special nod to 1996 - celebrating the 30-year anniversaries of records I was playing first time round. It was an EDC Anthems night, after all.
