“Our Teacher” is a collection of essays written by students of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong). This series is comprised of their personal experiences with the practice and their interactions with Dafa’s founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, when the practice was first taught to the public. After reading some of Master Li’s recent articles a practitioner in China uncovered attachments that had remained hidden. Through conflicts at his workplace he realized that he had an attachment to emotional fulfillment and it was a deeply hidden pursuit. A young man in China learned Falun Dafa with his family when he was young, but stopped practicing after the persecution began in 1999. He returned to practicing in 2020, and soon after he joined the Tian Guo Marching Band. Here he shares the his cultivation journey, accompanied by his cherished French Horn. A practitioner joined the Tian Guo Marching band when it was first formed in Australia in 2006, and though initially excited about the possibilities, after a short while she left the band for more than ten years. When she rejoined the band many years later she found that it was being managed in a very professional manner and here she shares her cultivation experience in the warm and inviting environment.
