  This poem was written on Jan 09, 2008 at 9:11 PM. Before writing this poem, I hadn’t seen the ocean in my life. The inspiration behind writing this is one of the Poem’s in Sri. Rabindranath Tagore Ji’s book Gitanjali, which I was reading during that time. The actual water body that I saw for the very first time was “Lake Ontario” through “Woodbine beach” in 2013. • Memories in Kits

  One of my friends who lived in Kits (Kitsilano, Vancouver) for 4 years, went back and was missing the home he lived in and the area. He shared a picture with me that was taken before he left, that picture ignited something inside me and I ended up writing this for him. So, it’s his story, he’s the protagonist. Enjoy!!!
