Man City stage incredible comeback at Anfield to keep title race alive

    09/2/2026 | 1 h 7 min
Jimbo has Daniel Storey, Tim Spiers and Reuben Pinder for company after an action-packed Matchday 25 in the Premier League.

Man City looked to be crashing out of the title race thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai’s outrageous free-kick. But late goals from Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland keep the gap to leaders Arsenal at 6 points. What was going on with City’s disallowed 3rd goal? And what’s going on with Liverpool who stay 6th?

Man United make it 4 wins out of 4 under Michael Carrick with a 2-0 win against Spurs, for whom Cristian Romero receives the 6th red card of his Tottenham career.

It was a great weekend for West Ham at the bottom who beat Burnley while Nottingham Forest were taken apart at Leeds, halving the gap between Forest and the Hammers.

Palmer strikes back with a hat-trick at Molineux, Gyokeres is in the goals against Sunderland and could Brentford or Everton qualify for Europe?

And what are flat-tracks and why is it called football?

Totally Extra: Leeds living the Champions League dream

    07/2/2026 | 1 h 13 min
Jimbo is joined by Duncan Alexander, Amitai Winehouse and Richard Sutcliffe to open up the Totally Extra Almanac on the Ridsdale era Leeds United.

Local businessman Peter Ridsdale became chairman of his hometown club in 1997 and took them on a 6 year rollercoaster. They were 90 minutes away from the Champions League final, 3 seasons later they were relegated and 6 seasons later they were in League One.

In their pomp, David O'Leary had a fantastic young team featuring the likes of Harry Kewell, Ian Harte, Lee Bowyer, Jonathan Woodgate, Rio Ferdinand and the lethal strike duo of Alan Smith and Mark Viduka. They went toe to toe with European powerhouses Barcelona, Milan, Real Madrid and Lazio in an unforgettable 18 game European run.

So where did it all go wrong? And was it worth it? The panel ponder whether they were just unlucky with the timing of their financial mishaps.

Plus a Leeds themed quiz question from Duncan Alexander.

Produced by Charlie Jones and Jesse Howard.

    RUNNING ORDER:

    • PART 1a: Richard’s book + Leeds’ legacy (0.40)
    • PART 1b: Duncan’s quiz question (5.25)

    • PART 4c: The answer to Duncan’s quiz question (1.08.40)

    05/2/2026 | 52 min
Jimbo, Duncan Alexander, Jack Lang and Dan Kilpatrick are in the studio ahead of a mouthwatering weekend of action.

Arsenal and Man City will meet in the Carabao Cup final in late March after overcoming Chelsea and Newcastle in the semi-finals in midweek. We discuss the very different approaches of Rosenior and Howe to how they handled the top two.

Could the Gunners increase their lead at the top of the table this weekend? Arteta’s men host Sunderland while Pep and his players travel to Anfield, a ground that hasn’t brought them much joy over the years.

Red-hot Man United look to hang on to 4th place as they face Spurs, about whom skipper Cristian Romero has been sounding off again.

Plus a big weekend of six-pointers at the bottom and the ticking time bomb that is Crystal Palace.

Barca flying, Bayern drop points again + De Zerbi stays but so do Marseille's woes

    03/2/2026 | 1 h 9 min
James is joined in the Totally studio by James Horncastle, Tom Williams and Seb Stafford-Bloor with Pol Ballus joining from Barcelona as the Euro crew assemble to discuss this week's continental happenings.

Bayern Munich have dropped points for a second weekend running in the Bundesliga. Seb was in the Volksparkstadion to see Hamburg draw 2-2 with the league leaders, meaning they are now 6 points clear of 2nd place Dortmund.

In Spain, Real left it late to beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 with Mbappe's winner coming in the 10th minute of injury time. That kept them within one point of Barca who comfortably beat Elche away 3-1 with goals from Yamal, Rashford and Ferran Torres.

No change at the top of Serie A with Inter and Napoli both winning and second placed Milan still to play Bologna Tuesday night. Same story in France where Lens and PSG both won, but Marseille's horror week continued as they blew a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Paris FC.

Plus Timo Werner's favourite Döner house & Antony spins again.

Produced by Lucy Oliva and Jesse Howard.

    RUNNING ORDER:
    • PART 1: Moment of the week (0.40)
    • PART 2a: Bundesliga review - Bayern drop more points (10.50)
    • PART 3a: Ligue 1 review - Marseille in meltdown (25.20)
    • PART 4a: Serie A review - Inter sitting pretty (37.10)
